How We Think About Senior Boarding
We don't believe in a one-size-fits-all residence. Older adults have different histories, different preferences, and different needs. Our arrangements are designed to meet people where they are — offering more support to those who want it, and preserving independence for those who don't need it.
Every arrangement shares the same foundation: a proper home environment, home-cooked meals, and a team that pays attention. What changes is the level of additional service and support layered on top.
Genuine Home Setting
A converted residential property on Corydon Avenue — not a purpose-built institution. The character of the space is part of what makes it feel different.
Small, Known Community
We keep our resident numbers intentional. Staff know people by name, and the communal spaces feel like they belong to those who use them.
Clear, Written Agreements
Every arrangement is documented so families and residents know exactly what's included. No surprises in fees or scope.
Home-Style Room & Meals
CAD $235 per month
A furnished semi-private room in a residential home, complemented by three daily home-cooked meals and access to all shared living spaces — including a sunroom, TV lounge, and landscaped courtyard. Menus reflect hearty prairie cooking with seasonal produce and locally baked bread. Light housekeeping is provided twice per week, and residents may personalise their room with photographs, blankets, and small furnishings from home.

Garden & Nature Connection Program
CAD $340 per month
A seasonal outdoor program that invites residents to spend structured time in nature through the residence's maintained garden plots, raised flower beds, and nearby walking paths. Year-round programming adapts to Manitoba's four seasons — from spring planting to winter herb gardening indoors. A program facilitator provides gentle guidance and all tools and supplies.
Designed for: Seniors who find meaning and enjoyment in time outdoors, gardening, and connection with Manitoba's natural environment.

Comprehensive Living Arrangement
CAD $940 per month
A private room with daily three-meal dining, weekly housekeeping and laundry, garden and nature programming, coordinated weekly transportation for shopping and appointments, and a personal staff liaison. Also includes monthly themed dinner events, a small personal storage locker, and access to a quiet reading room stocked with newspapers, magazines, and audiobooks.
Designed for: Seniors who seek a complete, considerate living situation where everyday needs are met with warmth and careful attention.

The residence is equipped with detection and suppression systems, clearly marked exits, and staff trained in emergency procedures.
Food Safety Standards
Our kitchen operates in accordance with Manitoba food safety regulations, and dietary adjustments are accommodated on request.
Open Communication Policy
We believe in direct conversation with families. Concerns are addressed promptly, not shuffled to voicemail.
Maintained Shared Spaces
Sunroom, lounge, courtyard, and other shared areas are cleaned and maintained on a regular schedule to stay comfortable for everyone.
Transparent Agreements
All arrangements are documented in writing. You'll always know what is and isn't included before signing anything.
